# Oracles

Oracles provide the current market prices for all tokens. These oracles access data through feeds for live price information. The current market price of a token is used to calculate the 30-day average volume of the user which in turn calculates the [discount in fees](https://docs.metalx.com/dex/what-is-metal-x/dex-fees-and-discounts).
